Haryana Judiciary
The High Court is the highest court of justice in the state. The High Court consists of a Chief Justice and a few other judges. The High Courts have two types of Jurisdictions, the Original Jurisdiction and the Appellate Jurisdiction. The High Court's power to issue writ for the enforcement of Fundamental Rights as enumerated in Article 226 and to settle Union and State Legislation and election disputes comes under Original Jurisdiction.
